Gigi and I were texting about the “Be Honest or Die” blog.

Gigi: Today’s blog has serious power.

Steve: Why is it different?

Gigi: I think its because we all want that. We want to be able to be real and in the presence of Jesus at the same time. The blog is real.

Gigi: It’s not about what one person thinks. It’s not about what some book says. It’s not about what someone has done. It just IS.

Steve: Very cool. Thanks. I want them all to be that powerful. Wish I knew how. I think the incredible response I have gotten via text message, FB message, FB posts and blog comments have encouraged me to be myself more. I mean I am already but to push the envelope a bit. Not for controversy’s sake but for the sake of honesty and raw-ness. People like someone who is comfortable in their own skin and confident in their relationship with God, while still being nice about it. Yes?

Gigi: Comfortable. Confident. Honest. Yes! Not everyone will like it (remember that Blogger you used who said shit TWO times?)

Gigi: Oh yea. Me too. Always.

Steve: I think people are looking for less teaching (they get that on Sundays) I think they want conversation. Thought provoking invitation to dialogue. Something to stir their hearts and start them thinking.

Gigi: Connection without judgements . A safe place to be real.
